Spring Intentions
The Spring Equinox is the time when the Earth’s axis is tilted neither away nor towards the Sun, resulting in almost equal amounts of daylight and darkness around the world. It marks the beginning of spring in the Northern Hemisphere and autumn in the Southern Hemisphere.
The Spring Equinox can represent a time of renewal, growth, and change. The natural tendency is to feel like you’re shedding off the hibernation that can come from the winter vibes, stay out longer to play in the sun or run home to see your loved ones. You may also see this as an opportunity to set new goals (or check-in on your goals), create positive habits, and shed old patterns that you no longer want in your life. All this to say, here’s some inspiration on what’s next for you and what to focus on this season:
- Time of balance
This is the time to motivate yourself to find balance, your unique definition of balance. This could mean finding a balance between work and play, between alone time and socializing, or between self-care and taking care of others. - Time of renewal
Take this time to reflect on what is working in your whole life and what conversations, relationships, environment, or elements of your life do you “want” to change. You can use the next couple of weeks to set new goals, start uplifting projects, and make positive changes in your life. - Time of growth
Embrace the growth mindset and be open to learning, this may be the exact time to challenge yourself, to try new experiences, and step out of the typical comfort zone.
Let this time be a reminder for us all to embrace the changes that come with the shifting seasons and to use this time as an opportunity for growth and renewal. The transition between winter and spring can feel sticky, you may not know why you’re resisting the changes and the best way through is through. Embrace the awkwardness of change and release control of the unknown. Let nature do its work, let the times shift with ease and may you transition as you please. Always remember that choice is the driving force to where you want to go.
May your goals spring with ease and joy,
Cecily
